Biography
1979 born in Strakonice, Czech Republic (former Czechoslovakia), till 1997 lived in Vodnany.
1997 – 2002 studied at the South Bohemia University in Ceske Budejovice – fine arts and computer sciences (bc.)
2002 – 2010 studied at the Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) in the department of animation under leadership of prof. Bretislav Pojar.
2005 – gained the degree Bachelor of Arts (bcA.) for the film PsiCHO and the thesis Making of the 3D Computer Animated Film
2006 – fim PsiCHO received the award for the Best Czech Short  Animated Film at the animation film festival Anifest in Trebon
Since 2009 – lectures the 3D computer animation course at FAMU
2010 – gained the degree Master of Arts (MgA.) for the film Graffitiger and the thesis 3D Computer Animation in a Live Action Film
2011 – film Graffitiger received the Magnesia Award - Czech Lion 2010 for the Best Czech Student Film
2011 – Graffitiger is nominated by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the student Academy Award - Oscar.
